Henry Ford’s Secret For Lasting Longer In Bed

Henry Ford’s Secret For Lasting Longer In Bed

Did you know that you can last longer in bed by simply believing that you will?

It’s true.

If you think you’ll last longer in bed, you probably will.

I guess you know what placebo is, but just to make sure we’re on the same page, let’s define it quickly.

In strictly medical terms, placebo is defined as a “sense of benefit felt by a patient that arises solely from the knowledge that treatment has been given”.

When testing new drugs, placebo is a “dummy” pill given to patient instead of the real drug that’s being tested. In a blind test, patients do not know if they have been given the real drug or the placebo; in a double-blind test, even physicians observing the results also do not know.

This is used to avoid bias, so the test can show does the drug really help, or the patients just believe it helped them.

The power of belief in this kind of tests can be so strong that some patients really get better, just because they believed they’ve been given the real drug. Or, they experience side-effect of a drug that has never actually been given to them.

An interesting example of this the is the test of the drug called Pravachol (a cholesterol lowering medication). During this test more people had gastrointestinal side effects (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gas) with the placebo than with the real drug! And the placebo contained nothing more than a few calories of sugar.

Anyway, we won’t discuss placebo here in strictly medical terms, but as the power of belief. As Henry Ford,   legendary US industrialist, said…

“… If you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re probably right… ”
– Henry Ford (1863-1447)

The same thought can be applied for lasting longer during sex. If you think you’ll last longer, you probably will.

As a matter of fact, in almost every test of drug for premature ejaculation, the patients who are given the placebo (“dummy” pill), always DOUBLE their lasting time. Just because they believed that they were given the real medication.

It also works the other way around. If you think you’ll come quickly, you probably will. So don’t stress yourself about coming too quickly.

“… I found out it’s just a matter of NOT thinking about it, every time I stress myself about NOT coming to fast I DO and whenever I don’t pay attention to it it’s no problem… “

Believe that you’ll last longer, and you probably will.

Have sex in a comfortable place where you won’t feel overexcited. Completely avoid anything that’s too exciting like public sex or anything else that turns you on a lot. If you feel most relaxed in your bed, stick to the bedroom until you get better control of your orgasms.

You have misspelled “1447” (1863-1447). Correct it.
It’s “1947”, Henry Ford (1863-1947).
